Ross Lynde

Ross first hit the Toronto music scene when he appeared onstage in front of his Grade 4 classmates singing “Gilligan’s Island” - acappella of course.  His musical training then led him to master all four strings of the ukulele and most of the strings on the guitar.

Thinking that ‘one note at a time’ might be easier, he learned to play the trumpet in his high school stage band and went on to win “Best Prankster” in all of Ontario!  Wanting to learn even more, he continued his education by earning a degree in music performance from York University while honing his singing skills and joining the newly formed vocal quartet Cadence.

Ross keeps busy by performing world-wide with Cadence, playing rock and roll with the world-renowned bar band Shemp, recording in his home studio, and trying to remember how to play Heart and Soul on the piano.
